MAC Cosmetics presents the Hello Kitty MAC collection.

There is no doubt that hello kitty has made a huge impact on the world for the hearts of many children and adults. The warmth and happiness that this little kitty brought since the day it all started (1974). Since the time Hello Kitty has spent circulating around the world, it has become an iconic image for a wide array of everyday used items; wallets, purses, coffee mugs, blankets, fashion accessories(sweaters, socks, jackets, shoes) even candy as well. This wasn’t just a paw print in the world of anime, it was also a paw print in the world we know today.

In the spring of 2009 one of the most iconic anime characters decided to tag team with MAC Cosmetics and bring out the Hello Kitty Collection. And let me tell you , this was absolute craziness! This was a prime example of “fandemoneum” at its finest. The collection line boasted just about everything that any MAC collector could want, beautifully detailed lip glosses, to plush toys, to all in one eyeshadow kits and of course bracelets and cutely designed make-up kits. Or even the fact that some of the collection pieces were in crusted with nice sparkly jewels

In all this was by far one of MAC’s best collection lines in terms of creativity (design) and color palette choice for the products themselves. If your a professional make up artist and you have these items in your kit you are guaranteed a great conversation starter during a photo session. I really do think that MAC should be realising more of these beautifully colored collections.

BUYER BEWARE:
Over the past while mainstreaming counter fit items has become extremely common. A little to common. This collection line has been counter fitted to the point where it is humorous, with sellers claiming that there items came directly from MAC and were “Limited quantity” even though they were never an original designed or released item from MAC. Some items to be aware of while shopping online are more then 4 eye shadow palettes. Some sellers claim that MAC released 12 and 20 eye shadow pallets but this is false. Also make sure the packaging is detailed and printed properly (no crooked writing ) and also do not buy any products with black print featuring a hello kitty item inside. And another big give away is the font written on the boxes. MAC always has 2 dots in-between there logo M.A.C .
