Question: Can i see past Clients photos ?

Yes we provide an ample amount of our styles on our website or feel free to see examples of any of our services except for online portfolios as a deposit is required for that.

How many people will be with me during any of the photo shoots?

We generally only keep the photo shoot between the photographer, The makeup artist, and the model (unless group photo shoots that you have signed up for) We like to keep low profile as this helps our creativity and comfort level at its best

Will my photos be posted on this site or syndicated online to the public?

Yes but if we recieve permission not to do so, it is discussed in the contract every client signs before our cameras even come out of our cases.

Will I get scammed?

Hell no!! we like to have an open and supportful environment to work in if you have an attitude that does not help yourself or our business we would prefer you look elsewhere.

Can I get a contract with big name clothing or high end modelling company through darkstars?

We prefer to give you the pictures that can get you in the door with these companies. It is ultimately up to you to do the research and have a portfolio that can blow away your competition. We dont believe there is a magic bullet for landing that huge contract.

How long does it take for me to get my service completed?

There is no specific time frame, generally a photo shoot will last 4 hours or less the editing time for you to receive your edits can take one week up to two weeks depending on how much content we have already available for us

Well I’m ready, what do I have to do?

Simple, the day or night will start out with your hair and makeup, and then straight on to dressing and the photo shoot. All you have to do is strut your stuff, Joanna will also assist you with posing and getting the right content down for the photo shoot. Please study content prior to your photo shoot if it is based off of a certain theme

Are there any rules I need to follow before or after a photo shoot?

Of course, we do have certain guidelines to follow just like any other business that takes it professionally.

- If posting of unedited photos are used, or self color correction or manipulation of photos is applied the package deal is voided and all edits will not be available to you.

-Please give at least 1 week notice of cancellations, if the client does not get a hold of either the photographer or make up artist within the time period you will be charged 60$ for rebooking.

-We have heard every excuse in the book, please do not try to plead your way out 6 hours before with silly excuses. Please be respectful, honest and of course professional. We put too much work into to this for you to back out.

-WE DO NOT DO Trade for trade, trade for print basically anything that invests us putting time into making costumes, sets, supplying hair and make up , photo manipulation for free. WE ONLY DO THIS for publications, magazines or any commercial use. WE WILL ONLY do trade for trade with models or actresses who can help promote us, who are currently acting in productions on a medium or large base, or models who are modeling OUTSIDE of Canada or have a large stand’in working professionally. Please do not be discouraged we are always on the look out for unique models if you feel you have a certain look please submit photos of your self for review.

-We do back up all of our work. In the event of losing a disc of photos we will provide you with a back up disc only up till 6 months after the photo session.

-Please gather the list of edits you would like to have within 3-5 days , if not we will not be able to edit them or you will have to wait longer to receive them because this pushes other clients work loads behind

-Please be patient upon the time of editing the photos , we understand the anxiety that gos into seeing the new you but this does take time and effort , we do make new pieces on a day to day basis.

-Upon receiving gift cards won at events it is only to be used on the theme specified or can be used as a credit amount off of another photo shoot theme. If you have 2 gift cards it CANNOT be used for other multiple major themes only for erotic. This can only be used for you and you only. If the name needs to be changed we do charge an additional 40$ for name change.

-We do not issue refunds. At any given time. Especially in the case of poor behavior , flakey girls, constant cancellations, rude attitude. Please be professional and mature at all times to have a more positive experience, this helps us settle things easier if a situation arises. Which is slim to none. If a full deposit is paid as well as amount for photo session and a problem arises and no refund is issued we can compensate you with a gift card under certain circumstances.
